Via Calpundit, father of friday cat blogs, I see that Internet Ronin has posted about losing his cat Phoebe. His story made me think of Jake, one of my father's cats, who was not fortunate enough to enjoy the long life the Phoebe did. Blinds with pull cords are not cat safe. Here are two pictures of Jake taken in early 2001, a few months before he died.
